Membership at HBC
Our membership process takes 3 steps. Through each part, you’ll learn about our church from every angle and be able to properly discern if you would like to become a member here.
Connection Lunch: Who we are & what we do.
This lunch is an introduction to our mission, ministry, and core values. You will have an opportunity to get acquainted with some of our pastors and ministry leaders, as well as meet other newcomers. Join us following the 11:00am service for a great meal and a great connection!
Membership Class: What we believe.
This two-part membership class further defines HBC’s mission and ministry with an in-depth look at our doctrinal beliefs and church practices. You will also learn more about how to become a fully committed part of Hickory Bible Church through membership.
Membership Interview: Apply to be a member!
We invite you to join our church family! You will be encouraged to grow spiritually and relationally through worship, Lifegroups, serving, equipping, and fellowship.
After attending both membership classes, your third step begins by completing a Membership Application. We’ll then schedule a time for you to have a brief conversation with one of our elders.
This will give you an opportunity to ask questions and speak one-on-one with one of our leaders before making your membership commitment to Hickory Bible Church
