Jon Krick

Jon Krick was born in Woodstock, IL (not that Woodstock) on a small farm, where he learned the value of hard work. This translated into hard work in the realm of sports as well, both in competing with his six older siblings and on school football teams. He played for Purdue University in college and graduated in 1997. The Lord changed Jon’s life in 2002 at a church in Anchorage, AK. Jon had been raised Roman Catholic, and God used a fuller understanding of the doctrine of grace to bring him to salvation. He was baptized in 2004 and graduated from The Master’s Seminary with an MDiv a few years later. Jon, his wife Viktoriya, and their children (Lydia, Sophia, Liam, and Mercy) love being adventurous together; this suited them well when they first joined HBC in 2009, moved back to California, and returned to HBC in 2018 when Jon took his current role on staff. Jon’s favorite books of the Bible are Ephesians and Ecclesiastes.
