Although born in Hickory, Holly Boone lived in the mountains of North Carolina for twelve years before returning to the area with her husband, Michael, and their three girls. Holly became a believer in 2010 and was baptized after joining HBC in 2013. She worked in the restaurant industry as a manager for over twenty years, but elected to work as a stay-at-home mom beginning in 2016. This opened up the opportunity for her to begin volunteering in HBC Women’s Ministry, where she eventually joined staff in 2021. Her favorite thing about her role is watching God work in individual people’s lives, working all things together. Three of her favorite verses are John 10:14, Romans 11:36, and Luke 6:47-48.
