David Duncan has lived in nearly every state south of the Mason-Dixon line, and is proud of his ability to speak every dialect of southern English. He eventually landed at Western Carolina University for his college career, earning a BSBA in Marketing. This led him to a lifelong career in business, from Sales to Operations, to his current position as President and CEO of two companies in the area. His passion for business and sales is dwarfed only by his passion for Christ. David became a believer at a young age, and has been greatly influenced by authors such as J.C. Ryle, Steve Gallagher, and C.H Spurgeon. He, his wife Kelly, and their children joined HBC in 2009, where David joined the elder team in 2014. He loves the opportunity to minister to the church through teaching, counseling, and even playing guitar on the worship team!
