Pastor Adam Ashoff

Adam Ashoff

Adam Ashoff was born and raised in Pittsburg, PA, also known as the Steel City or the City of Champ-yinz (although it may just be Adam that calls it that). He attended Taylor University for his undergraduate degree before moving to LA in pursuit of an acting career, although clearly that did not work out in the long run. He stayed in California to attend The Master’s Seminary and graduated with an MDiv in 2011. He took a youth ministry position at HBC immediately after this, but boomeranged back out to The Master’s Seminary for a DMin, which he completed in 2016. He boomeranged once again to HBC in 2019 to take on the role of preaching pastor. In his words, he loves his family, the church, and sandwiches of all kinds. His favorite theologians are all named John (the Baptist, Calvin, Edwards, and MacArthur), and one of his favorite chapters of the Bible is John 15 (although Ephesians 1 and Psalm 103 are favorites as well).
