Global Missions
Our church to partners with missionaries crossing cultural, language, or geographic boundaries to advance the cause of the Gospel. These missionaries may vary in specific objectives, but have this common ambition.
HBC is blessed to invest in fourteen missionary families located throughout the world. We do that by providing financial resources, spiritual care, and ministry support all year long. Each summer, we are able to go a step further by bringing our people to their mission field. Our GO Teams use short-term trips to aid and encourage long-term work. Below are some short-term mission trips you can be involved in, either through financial support or going yourself.
GO Team Romania
July 23, 2024 - August 3, 2024
Through HBC’s long-standing partnership with European Christian Missions (ECM), GO Team Romania has been able to work with the church in Bucharest to pursue a variety of ministry opportunities. This trip includes a youth camp in the Romanian mountains, street evangelism in several gypsy villages, speaking in local churches, women’s ministry events, and lots of opportunities for children’s ministry!
Through each of these things, we desire to make much of Jesus Christ among people who do not know Him. Although many churches exist in Romania, few church-goers understand the gospel. Please pray for their eyes to be opened to the good news of the gospel through ECM’s ministry and that HBC would encourage and support them during their time among them.
GO Team Uganda
July 17, 2024 - July 27, 2024
Sufficiency of Scripture Ministries (SOS) is multifaceted in the ways they evangelize and equip the Ugandan people, and HBC is blessed to work with them in their endeavors. This trip centers around partnership with existing SOS ministries to host a Vacation Bible School, take part in local outreach, and work with the seminary.
The Lord has blessed SOS with a fruitful ministry, and we are delighted to partner with them once again in their efforts to point everyone they encounter to Christ. Please pray for the team from HBC to be an encouragement to the SOS team and an asset to SOS in their summer programs.
GO Team Mexico
July 15, 2024 - July 24, 2024
Two of HBC’s supported missionaries, Ed and Deb Capps, work with a church in Guachochi, Mexico to reach and teach both members of their community and the Tarahumara Indians in the nearby regions. Our desire is to partner with the Capps in evangelism and service during our time with them this summer. There are many opportunities to serve with them in the church and surrounding village, including evangelism, men’s and women’s events, and Vacation Bible School.
Please pray for our time with the Capps, that the team from HBC would be a blessing to them in their labors and that the people of Guachochi would be impacted by the gospel through our time there.
